Devlog: https://nnnikkiguy.wixsite.com/making-art-101/post/preparing-for-the-best-limina...

Inspired by Mateusz Skutnik's Submachine series, especially the early Flash games (https://store.steampowered.com/app/1564790/Submachine_Legacy/).

Click around to move, collect items, use items, insert stabilizers and break this damn grey loop.

I drew all the art. Sound effects are mostly from Freesound, some were made with ChipTone. Fonts used: Arquitectura, Adler, Rough Draft.

Kinda intentionally made to be confusing and low-res. It's a prologue/epilogue to a bigger Submachine fangame I want to make.

Can you find the secret ending?

Teratomachine Grey Loop

fun game, but you can grab the second marble through the tile without being on the second area and that softlocks you if you insert it before also grabbing the first

Lmao how did I not catch that

Ah so that's what happened. I put in 5 pearls at once and couldn't do anything

Looks like somebody got trapped in the "Sub-Machine" again.

Hello, how can I find the secret ending?

After inserting the fourth stabilizer, look at the painting.

I looked at this painting, strange symbols, I didn't figure out what they meant, like English letters but not like a word.

Yeah, that's actually the exact effect I was going for, lol. It's meant to say "exit", but not quite like actual letters, with the four symbols below it showing the code you need to enter to get the secret ending. (h°4J) You need to use your imagination a little bit...

Thank you very much, I have found the hidden ending. Looking back, as you said, it requires some imagination. In fact, I was almost there because I thought of entering the code, but at that time I couldn't find the same symbol as in the painting. So I got stuck and kept playing again. I feel a bit foolish.

Very cool. Wish it was a bit longer and hi-res.

Here's walkthrough (both ends) for those who stuck:

The video doesn't play for me...

Hm, for some reason youtube embed don't seem to work, this is the link: www.youtube.com/watch?v=sDAPKn0VZo0

A bit longer, I agree. I still barely managed in time, heh.

More hi-res, I'm torn. I do agree, but then I also want to capture that old Flash game style... idk...

But thanks, it's super cool to see someone make a walkthrough of my game!

fun just like murtaugh

murtaugh is indeed a fungi
