A downloadable converter for Windows

Back when I made The Last Assignment, a game that was generally inspired by childhood memories, I decided to add in a joke language - Tkjrhne, inspired by my own languages that I used to create that were simply complete gibberish. I continued the legacy with Platonüas and 1-DC, but I eventually realized how much work it takes.

So, I automated it!

It was a nice challenge and the first time I made a Windows Forms app with Visual Studio. It's generally made for myself, but I figured, hey, maybe someone out there will find it useful!

How to Use:

First, write out all text in your game in English in a single text file, without ANY formatting. (I use the extension .lang for my projects, but they're just plain old text files.) For example:

Back
Continue
Level 1
Level 2
etc.

Load it by pressing "Find English.lang" (you can change from .lang to .txt extension).

Optionally, you can import "Saved Words" or a "Vocabulary" in the same way. Saved Words are words that should remain (mostly) unaltered in the translations, e.g. the title of the game, names of creators, etc. Vocabulary is words that should remain (mostly) consistent throughout the translation. You don't want to do this for all words, because it kind of spoils the fun. (For these files, there can only be one word per line.)

Finally, click "Convert to Tkjrhne.lang" and you're good to go! Enjoy your new translation!
